History

At Midnight Frames, we are proud of our rich history dating back to our founding in 2012. Over the past decade we have grown into a high quality platform for cinematic screening dedicated to showcasing the best of the best movies and bringing our community together under the glow of the silver screen.

Our History

2012 – 2016

Before becoming Midnight Frames our festival was under a different name. During these early years we built our foundation supporting independent filmmakers, hosting exciting screening and developing a creative community.

2016 – Present

In 2016, we rebranded as Midnight Frames to better reflect our identity and vision. The new name marked a new chapter embracing bold storytelling, cinematic atmosphere and films that thrive beyond the mainstream. Since then Midnight Frames has continued to grow as a platform dedicated to celebrating powerful visionary cinema.
